Solitude as Cure for Loneliness

I’ve been alone for years, more or less my entire life perhaps.

I was only popular with the people around me for my rebellious nature, for my unafraid attitude against authority and rules, but long gone are those days and those who were around me.

Nowadays, I spend 24/7 to myself, and I tell you, at times it can get a bit lonely out here, so I sing to myself and God:

Somebody once told me

The world is kinda lonely

And if you think it otherwise, you will cry

But if you take things slowly

Then you might not be so lonely

Cuz the joker will be watching you from the sky
