Every Day is Hell
Tue Feb 10 2026Surrounded by rats in their cages, any time I go for the slightest touch I get bitten.
It doesn’t matter if they are hungry or not, that’s all they do regardless of their current status.
Snakes crawl around at my feet. They climb up under my pants and sting as I grab them by their tail and swing them into oblivion.
They sing their Ssssss in harmony with others, up close and from afar.
I ignore their ugly noise but admire their scales and worthless eyes.
All they have for food are the rats, the ones that free themselves from their cages or the ones that get invaded in their own cage.
Every day is the same amongst them, every day is the same ordeal to them.
I shake it off with a shrug and look elsewhere, for it’s just another day in hell.
